A few Windows software and utilities like Yahoo Messenger, Windows Messenger, Chrome, Real player, DirectX,. NET framework, etc. comes in an online installation form. Therefore, it’s impossible for people without an internet connection to download, install or backup them for future use. Skype, the multi-platform VOIP client and internet messenger is also released in this way. However, we can download the full offline installer of Skype from a hidden URL.

Skype for Windows:

Skype supports Mac OS, Linux, Windows and Mobile operating systems Symbian, Windows Mobile, Android, iOS, etc. The Windows version is what we are talking about. It is only 400KB in size when you download it from the website. Then the installer will connect to the internet and download the Skype setup which is around 25 MB in size. After several months of beta testing, Yahoo messenger 9 is now available for download. The default installer from Yahoo’s official website is an online installer,  and you need an internet connection to download the remaining files.  If you are shifting or formatting your PC, then you would  need to download Yahoo messenger again.
