iH8sn0w has just released Sn0wbrooze 2.3, a jailbreak tool that is compatible with iOS 4.3 on the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Sn0wbreeaze 2.3 will let you jailbreak iOS 4.3 on a Windows machine, and it is a tethered jailbreak. You have to use the inbuilt tool iBooty to boot the device to tethered jailbreak mode  after the jailbreak. iPhone dev team member ih8sn0w today released Sn0wbreeze 2.2 an untethered jailbreak tool that supports iOS 4.2.1 firmware. Sn0wbreeze 2.2 will work on iPhone 4, 3GS, 3G, iPod Touch, iPad devices, and it is the Windows alternative for PwnageTool 4.2. Just like the PwnageTool 4.2, Sn0wbreeze 2.2 uses the exploit found by the Chronic dev team that they used in developing GreenPois0n RC5.

The iPhone-dev team today released PwnageTool 4.2 that can be used to jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 devices. PwnageTool 4.2 is an Untethered Jailbreak, and it will work on iPhone 4, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3G S, iPod Touch 4G, 3G and iPad  models. As per the dev team, PwnageTool 4.2 embodies the exploit used in GreenPois0n RC5 that was released last week by Chronic dev team.

(Update : Ultrasn0w 1.2 is now available for download in Cydia.) Apple yesterday released iPhone OS 3.0, which is now available as a download on iTunes. All those who are currently using a jailbroken iPhone should wait for the dev team to release new set jailbreak tools. The iPhone 3G unlock tool Yellosn0w has been renamed to Ultrasn0w, and dev team released a video confirming iPhone OS 3.0 unlock with Ultrasn0w. We need to jailbreak iPhone before unlocking with Ultrasn0w. The dev team had earlier confirmed that they would release jailbreak tools after official iPhone 3.0 release. And as firmware 3.0 is already released we expect a compatible QuickPWN or Pwnagetool version in 2-3 days. After jailbreaking iPhone OS 3.0, we will be able to unlock iPhone 3G with Ultrasn0w. Many developers had jailbroken iPhone 3G with OS 3.0 for installing unofficial app testing. But for unlocking, we need to download Ultrasn0w, which will be available tomorrow.
