Apple released iOS 4.2.1 back in December 2010. Since then iPhone dev-team and various hackers started working on a jailbreak for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch models. Now on today Chronic dev team released a simple iOS 4.2 jailbreak tool for all supported idevices. The advantage of GreenPois0n RC5 is that it’s an untethered jailbreak tool, and it supports multiple OS platforms. Mac OS version is currently available for download and soon Windows and Linux users would be able to download native versions of  GreenPois0n RC5 for their platforms.

In Windows, you will get a lot of applications that can be used to scan and remove unwanted junk files and folders that get deposited in the system due to software installation and removal. These files consume system storage and memory resources and ultimately slow down its performance. Since I am Mac OS user I was looking for a similar solution in this scope. After a long lasting developer level beta testing and upgrades, Mac OS X 10.5.7 is all set to be released on tomorrow. Mac OS X 10.5.7 was first entered into the testing phase on February of this year and since then it had different bug fixes and improvements. This would be the final update to Mac OS X Leopard 10.5, before the launch of OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, which is expected to be introduced at WWDC on June.
