Google is now into another step to dominate the internet and computer software industry by announcing Google chrome OS .Google chrome web browser was launched almost 9 months ago and currently they have crossed veteran browsers like Opera and Safari in market shares . Google Chrome OS is also planned as open source venture just like the Chrome browser and will be available on GP license .Google Chrome OS is an extension to Chrome browser project and it would be cloud based .That is the OS works on web and all Google web services along with other web applications will be available via internet .Like in every Google service ,speed ,user friendliness etc. will be the main concern in new OS . Cost factor and non user friendliness of Mac OS and Linux might give an extra edge to Google Chrome OS . But it depends how Google design the user interface . Google chrome OS initially aims at spreading its wings on netbook market and they are currently on talks with manufactures for pushing the OS from 2010 onwards.
