We hope u know about WinRAR ,WinZip archivers that are used to archive and extract a collection of dispersed files into compact RAR and ZIP archives . The special about archived files is that the size of the total package is small and it is easy to transfer them via web or USB, CD or any other media . Similarly is a Windows executable file (.exe) . A software program will contain various files ,icons graphics, dll files ,scripts etc .An installer in MSI( Microsoft installer) ,Installshield installer ,Excelsior Installer etc. archives these files in user friendly package .But sometime we requires to open and extract these exe files  .Extraction will particularly benefit in occasions like if there is a corrupted or large installation package with unwanted files .
