Today I noticed a Google search India advertisement on one of my Adsense pages . Very interesting fact about this ad was that it shows few funny search queries and a search box . A screenshot of the ad is given below .

Those links attached with JavaScript and opens searches into a new page . Anyways its a very interesting concept to promote Google search .

Improve Infolinks earnings:

From my last one year experience, I have learned about Infolinks and methods to improve Infolinks earnings.

1. Use Blue color for Infolinks in text links.
2.Increase the number of in text links .

3. Use single underline for in text ads .

4. Block ads from appearing sidebar and footer section.

I have seen many Bloggers who are placing Adsense , Chitika and other advertisements far away from the content block . This is the main reason why they have low CTR (Click Through Rate ) and low Adsense earnings . In WordPress blogs , you can insert and rotate Adsense ads in blog posts using plugins . Adsense Manager is one of such WordPress plugins, supporting Adbrite , Adsense ,Yahoo publisher network and CJ . Detailed instructions for installation and downloads  are available here .
Now I will tell you a method to insert adsense ads in Blogger posts, just below post titles and after post content .
Insert Adsense below Blogger post title :

After this process , Adsense ads would appear as shown in above screenshot . Remember to keep  ” advertisements” label , not to violate Google adsense Terms .
How to Do :
Open your Blogger templates‘ edit HTML section and expand widget templates .Now find out the div for post  header line . In my case this line looks like this      <div class=’post-header-line-1′> . Next step is to generate your Adsense code , preferably 336*280 rectangular block or 468*15 text links . These ad codes should be parsed , before they can be applied to the Blogger template . Go to this page and make your adsense code friendly . Now copy the converted ad code and paste in the section as described above .

Insert Adsense ads below post content:

Here, text links and rectangular ad blocks would bring good CTR ,just shown as in the screenshot . Generate the friendly Adsense code as explained the first case . Now you have to locate post footer section    <p><data:post.body/></p> and paste the code just below that . Preview the changes and save your Blogger template . Remember to keep the number of advertisement blocks limited to 3 and the advertisement label(should be added manually at the top of the ad code ) in the ad section below Blogger post title .

People using Blogger blogs can show up to 3 Adsense ads in between posts .Make sure that ads are not placed below post title as they are against adsense TOS .
Here’s how you can do this ,
From dashboard , open the target blog’s layout and click on edit for Blog Posts . A new window will open as shown below.
Click on show Ads Between Posts. Now you have to enter your adsense email and details on the following form .

After singing in , they will send you a verification email to provide access for Adesnse in Blogger .
Verify email and return to show ads between posts menu . Choose the suitable color and format of your ad and save your template .

It is always a difficult task to find out the exact matching colors for Adsense ads ,based on the theme or template of the website/blog . Unless the HEX color codes are specified, it is nearly impossible for beginner to choose the background/text color that can blend with his template.
Look at the following screenshot . Here we are adding adsense between Blogger posts . And we are forced to choose the available 8 colors . Now what would you do if you want to choose another color for your Adsense text ??.

This task can be accomplished using a Firefox addon called Colorzilla. Colorzilla filler picks the desired colors from a web pages . If your desired color is not available  , there is color ,which could  be made use of .

On moving Color picker through any section of your template/theme , particular color code will appear in the near tab as shown above. Copy the color code and paste it to boxes provided near the Adsense color selector .

The use of this Firefox addon is not limited to Adsense . Its a quite useful addon for web designers , for picking colors from websites and images .It would help them also for measuring the width and size of a web pages .
