Panda security launched the final versions of Panda Security 2011, Panda Global Protection 2011, Panda Antivirus 2011 and Panda Internet security for netbook. The top end product Panda Global Protection comes with additional PC optimization, backup and encryption tools, along with Antivirus, Firewall, Anti-Spam modules that are also available in other versions. Panda is one of the pioneers of cloud based antivirus systems. All Panda 2011 products are equipped community based malware detection powered by cloud computing. Panda 2011 software is up-to 50 % faster than Panda 2010 security products. There is a netbook version of Panda internet security- for which the minimum system requirement is Windows XP with 300MHZ processor and 128MB RAM.

As shown in the screenshot, Panda 2011 products have a redesigned user interface. Panda Global protection 2011 is somewhat similar to Kaspersky Pure and Norton 360. The package includes Antivirus, AntiSpyware, AntiSpam, Firewall, Parental controls, online (2GB) and offline backup, Tune-up utilities and Panda USB vaccine. Apart from the general improvements in existing security modules, Panda 2011 adds following new features to some of the products.
Virtual keyboard: It is a facility that lets users to enter passwords using an on-screen keyboard, and thereby it prevents keylogging programs. This feature is already available in KIS 2011.
File shredding and encryption: The encryption tool in Panda Global protection 2011 can be used to protect confidential information. The file shredding tool deletes all private documents in such a way that it is not recoverable by software tools.
Remote PC access: Access your PC from anywhere in the world.
Home security network: This tool checks the security status of other machines connected in a network.

Panda security products are activated online. Note down the activation code, email and client number from the product CD or from the welcome email after purchase.
