Palm pre is powered by Plam web OS , a new generation OS engineered for incorporating latest web technologies ,streaming media ,multitasking and exceptional multimedia possibilities in upcoming Palm devices. Many people are considering Palm Pre as an opponent for iPhone 3 G , Blackberry storm and Google G1 phone . Palm is also looking for recovery from recent recession effects and global drop in sales through introduction of Palm Pre and Plam web OS .
