Kaspersky released just another security software called Kaspersky Pure. Until now the top end product in Kaspersky line of security solutions was Kaspersky Internet security. The new Kaspersky Pure is an integrated software combining Kaspersky Internet security, KryptoStorage, Password manager and backup solutions. Kaspersky Pure also has PC tune up module that we have seen before in Windows optimization software. All these security features of Kaspersky Pure can be controlled from an easy to learn GUI. Like in the case of other products, Kaspersky offers a 30 day trial license key of Kaspersky Pure for all new users.

As you can see from above screenshot,  Kaspersky Pure has a visual design that provides quick access to all security components. My Computer protection tab is nothing but the Kaspersky Internet security itself. You can control and configure  Firewall, AntiSPAM, AntiBanner and all other components KIS 2010 from this tab.

My Backup tab is a new feature in Kaspersky Pure. This module lets yours to take a complete backup of their system, to a removable drive, local drive, network drive or to an FTP location and restore them when required.

Kaspersky Pure includes redesigned parental controls. When activated, the service will block access to websites based on profiles, and provide the complete report of visited websites, instant messages, downloads and total time of internet usage.

The most prominent change in Kaspersky Pure is the inclusion of applications to prevent digital data theft. As you can see, there we have an encryption tool,  privacy cleaner password manager and virtual keyboard.

The encryption tool in Kaspersky Pure has the option to create a password protected virtual drives of custom size. Users can protect confidential files and folders using this drives,  which encrypt data using high standard algorithms.

Password manager in Kaspersky Pure encrypts and saves important passwords, and auto fill them securely in login forms of various internet browsers and services. The virtual keyboard prevents password theft using key logging applications.

Kaspersky Pure System Tune-up includes tools to delete private data and unwanted file and folders from user machines. The data shredding tool can delete files in such a way that they are not recoverable using another software. There are also some modules to create rescue disk and tune browser and general windows security settings.

Kaspersky Pure license key:

Kaspersky Pure costs 79.9$ for a single user serial number. This is pretty high when compared with Kaspersky Internet security, which is available at 15$ for  3 user license key in some local Kaspersky stores.  So the Kaspersky Pure is not a worth upgrade for Kaspersky Internet security users, if they are just looking for an antivirus solution. However,  here users don’t need to spend cash on additional backup software, privacy cleaner, encryption and password manager.

Convert Kaspersky pure serial number to license key:

We will get a serial number when we purchase Kaspersky Pure.  This  serial number can be converted  into license key, so that the application can be activated later, without internet connection. For this, click on my Kaspersky Account link from Kaspersky Pure UI and proceed with registration.  After verification, go to the activation website here, and enter  Kaspersky Pure serial information and download the key file to a safe place.
