Kaspersky lab has released a beta version of upcoming Kaspersky internet security ,Kaspersky internet security 2010 . Kaspersky internet security 2010 has numerous changes changes on interface and arrangement of menus . Kaspersky internet security 2009 activation keys will not work with 2010 and we tested a piece with beta activation key . Kaspersky internet security 2010 interface has been redesigned as shown above . First thing you would notice is about Kaspersky internet security 2010 text at the top portion .Its not visible completely .Since its a beta release there are lot of text missing and font issues . Application starts faster than previous versions,but when there is multitasking it will mess up completely .

Main interface has been redesigned to accommodate two controls , My safe place and security + .
My safe place:
Here you can set some particular programs to the safe list . Kaspersky internet security 2010 will monitor these programs and provides enhanced protection . There is also a shared folder which can be set as a safe place to keep downloads and documents at work . This folder will be monitored faster than other folders and computer locations . Shared folder with KIS icon will be added to my computer browser .
Security +
Security + accommodates tools like parental control ,browser configuration , vulnerability scanner , rescue disk wizard ,privacy cleaner and system restore .
Settings menu in Kaspersky internet security 2010 has been spitted into different sections . New additions and IM antivirus ,application control and Game profile .
Game profile is now avilable in Kaspersky internet security 2010 . It will stop memory consuming scan functions and irritating notifications while playing computer games .
Firewall settings in Kaspersky internet security 2010 has became more complex than KIS 2009 and KIS 7
In KIS 7, we can allow or block incoming and outgoing network connections manually and automatically using a change in settings. From version 2009 , Firewall connections in Kaspersky internet security are automatically configured . A normal user will not be knowing about the programs accessing internet .
Link filter was only avilable for Internet explorer .Now Kaspersky internet security 2010 made it possible for Firefox with a Link filter addon .
Verdict : Kaspersky internet security 2010 has some good additions but developers should consider about firewall settings , crash issues ,fonts ,text, graphics etc. .And there should be free upgrade for old customers .
