Specifications and photos of unannounced Nokia C6-01 were leaked on the Dutch Nokia website. The Nokia C6-01 is considered to be an upgrade for the existing Nokia C6 touch screen phone, which is already available in a selected number of countries. The 3.2 inch sized Nokia C6-00 is a 5MP camera phone with QWERTY keypad. The design elements in Nokia C6-00 and Nokia C6-01 are almost the same, but the later has an 8MP camera with dual LED flash. Nokia C6-01 also has a slight change in the back panel design. The Symbian S60 V5 powered Nokia C6-01 is the second Nokia phone with an 8MP camera, after N86.

Kaspersky launched the revamped version of its internet security solution for Windows based computers. The new Kaspersky Internet security 2011 has a re-designed user interface and a few changes in product components. Kaspersky Internet security 2011 is a complete protection suite with Antivirus, Firewall, Anti-Spam and Prental Controls.  The major addition to KIS 2011 version is the system watcher, which tracks the behavior of programs and let the user to block or rollback any unwanted activity. Apart from this, there is a new URL adviser that automatically blocks access to harmful websites.  All exiting users of Kaspersky internet security 2010 with a valid license key can upgrade to 2011 versions for free.

Microsoft periodically releases security fixes and enhancements for its Windows operating systems Windows Vista and Windows 7 – through Windows update service. The service packs include all these updates plus a few general improvements and additions based on customer feedback. Microsoft recently released the developer download of Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. Both beta versions are now available for direct download at Microsoft Technet website.  Developers can test this release, make their applications compatible with the update and send feedbacks based on their evaluation. The final version  of Windows 7 SP1 will be available for the public by the end of  June 2011.

Google owned Blogger has become an important tool for web publishing. Blogger is easy to learn, customize and is being  preferred as a  free alternative to professional blogging platforms like WordPress.  Blogger users don’t need to care about the hosting configuration, subscription charges and other associated problems. However, any blogger  user has only the option to customize the front end, they are not allowed to install server side web scripts and application to their blogspot or custom domain. This would  limit the Blogger users from installing forums, and other useful applications.
