Google’s entry into the web browser market in September 2008 with Chrome has now proved as a success . They got 5.1% share in the global browser market with the launch of Chrome for Windows computers. By the end of November 2008 Google chrome stood next to Apple’s Safari browser with 3.93% market share while Safari had 4.36%. With this new Mac OS and Linux releases, Google is expecting to increase their share in the browser market. Also they are aiming at improving the net usage experience of the people around the globe. Google is building Chrome OS around its chrome browser. Like the home page of Google, Google chrome is known for its lightweight interface and faster load time. Now Mac and Linux users can also download a test version of Google Chrome for their operating systems.
