I have noticed sudden changes in Alexa rankings for techknowl.com . From the last 2-3 days , i was getting daily values as shown below . As per Alexa , daily traffic values are available for only sites having ranks < 100000 . My site’s ranking is only 357457 and i was amazed to see these results .
Above all , i admit that the Alexa rank cannot be trusted as an effective measurement of site traffic , but its still a encouragement for me to see the graph up with the progress in my work .
Alex rank is an approximate traffic estimate of website depending upon the values collected from users of Alexa toolbar .This data is used by advertisers and webmasters while calculating the value of a site .
